is (from top to bottom) Furford, Rikki, and Sweet Pea.
********* Rikki passed away in November, 1999. He was nearly 6 years old. Furford passed away in late July, 2000. He was 6 1/2 years old. Nikki (not pictured) passed away in December, 2000. She was 6 1/2 years old. They are all missed very much. ********* |

is Booger (with Sweet Pea at his side). Booger was 4 years old
in September, 2000.
We rescued him from a local pet store. He was injured, and the owner has no compassion for the pets he sells. We nursed him back to health. He is still only slightly crippled, but he is full of fun, and keeps the other guys in line.... |

is Sweet Pea. She was also 4 years old in September, 2000.
When Booger came to live with us, Sweet Pea seemed to sense he was unable to get around as well as the others could, and she befriended him. She played with him constantly, and much more gently than with the other ferrets. They are still great friends.

is Cricket in the supply cabinet. The latch wasn't quite strong
enough to keep our most curious wooly worm out. She preferred to
have all of her food at once, and on the floor where it is more
convenient.
